Student Library Assistants (Fixed Term, Part Time) - Leeston Library and Service Centre

Our Arts, Culture and Lifelong Learning team provide an exceptional service to our community and we have a great opportunity for local high school students to experience and contribute to this.

We are looking for a local high school student who is keen to join our Leeston Library in 2021.

You will work as part of our knowledgeable team to provide excellent customer service to all library visitors whilst having the opportunity to assist with other administrative and resource related tasks.

This is the perfect role for a high school student (you must be 16 years or older) who is looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment, whilst making a positive contribution to the community.

To be successful in this role you will enjoy working with people and be confident engaging with people of all ages. You will have a genuine love of libraries and be comfortable using a wide range of technology. You must be available to work the following hours at our Leeston Library and Service Centre:

Tuesday - 4.45pm to 6.15pm

Saturday - 10am to 1.30pm

This role is fixed term for one year.
