Team Leader - Building
Lead, influence and develop your team in a people first leadership role
About the Role
Our Building team plays a vital role in supporting the district's growth by delivering high-quality services through customer engagement whilst completing both building consent authority and territorial authority functions. We work with our community to promote understanding, empathy, and a culture of safety and compliance.
As a Team Leader in our Building Team, you'll lead a group of building professionals delivering high-quality services that support safe, compliant development across the district.
Team Leader roles blend people leadership, technical oversight, and strategic collaboration. You'll guide and develop your team, foster cross-Council partnerships, and drive a consistent, customer-focused service model.
This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in leading others, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement. While technical expertise is valuable, your strength in people leadership is what matters most.
