Building Advisor

About the role:

The Building Advisor is the first point of contact for the Selwyn District residents with the building team; customer focus and positive interactions are key to success in the role. The role is varied in nature and pivotal to the internal function of the building team. Day to day life will see you working on multiple tasks including but not limited to:

  • PIMs,
  • Inspections bookings,
  • Loading and vetting of consents,
  • Issuing of documentation
  • Responding to internal and external queries

About you:

You will be a customer service-focused team player who is comfortable contributing and working collaboratively. As a skilled administrator you will have several years' experience, with previous administrative knowledge of the Building Act being advantageous. Detail orientated and process driven you can use your initiative and enjoy making improvements. Full training will be provided.
