We are seeking a suitably experienced person or couple to fill the position(s) of the Camp Caretaker/Cleaner.

This is a fixed-term position, from mid-January 2025 until 30 June 2025. Up to 30-hours per week (over 7 days) and is available to either one person or split if a couple, on a flexible basis to support the functions of the campground each day. In addition to 30 hours of remuneration, onsite accommodation will be provided.

Located less than one hours' drive from Christchurch in the heart of the Selwyn District, Glentunnel Campground is nestled in parklike surrounds and a two-minute walk away from the banks of the Selwyn River. Close by are the amenities of the Glentunnel Township, which includes a village store, café, and golf course. The campground is a perfect location for the passing traveller, a few nights stay or groups.

• A cheerful, welcoming, and kind manner towards our visitors
• Be physically fit and active
• Experience of minor general building & grounds maintenance and cleaning
• Strong computer literacy, including social media, Microsoft Office programs, invoicing, planning & email communication
• Eligible to work in NZ and hold either NZ Residency or valid Work Permit
• Current unencumbered NZ Drivers Licence
• Pass a NZ Police vetting request submission
