Customer Service Officer

About the role:

Our team is growing to meet the needs of our community!

We are a vibrant team so a love for working collaboratively is a must, great communication skills and the ability to encourage others how to get the best out of our Aquatic Centre facilities. This role is 40 hours per week working, Monday to Friday 8 hours per day.

  • Provide excellent frontline customer service.
  • Apply practical skills and knowledge to resolve customer enquiries.
  • Administrative duties, cash handling, bookings for aquatics activities.
  • Use your initiative and judgement to assist our customers.
  • Facility cleaning tasks as required.

About you:

You will be a highly motivated and customer centric person with the ability to adapt quickly and ensure policy and procedures are followed. You will be familiar with technology and be able to adapt quickly to new systems.

You will also have:

  • Ideally previous Customer Service experience is preferred, however full training will be provided to the right candidate.
  • Have had experience with POS and retail experience
  • Excellent people skills, able to relate to and connect with a wide range of backgrounds, ages, and cultures. A genuine enjoyment in communicating with people.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and initiative - highly motivated, calm, reliable and flexible.
  • Be willing to muck in and complete cleaning tasks as required.
