Recreation Coordinator

Enjoy an active role as Recreation Coordinator where you will play an important part in the day to day operation of our brand new Selwyn Sports Centre.

Delivering exceptional service to our users you will ensure all customer enquiries and bookings are managed effectively as you coordinate the day to day activities associated with sport, recreation and fitness programmes.

Maintaining a safe environment for all of our customers you will be actively involved in the successful setup, pack down and delivery of programmes. Passionate about sport and recreation you will be motivated to ensure our new facility meets the needs of our growing community.

You'll have previous experience participating in sport and recreation activities or events with a genuine interest in creating a career in this space. With an understanding of the operational side of facilities, you value their importance in the community.

An effective communicator you are comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people and enjoy building and maintaining positive relationships. Above all, you are proactive, positive and keen to learn.

Selwyn Sports Centre will operate 7 days a week, so reliability and commitment to working early, late and weekend shifts are crucial. This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week on a rostered basis.
