District-Wide Duty Manager - Dunsandel Community Centre

Community Centres are the heart of our towns; creating, hosting and supporting a range of recreation, sporting and community activities for all ages and stages and providing facilities for meetings, functions and celebrations.

We are seeking an outgoing candidate who is passionate about what we do and about providing exceptional customer service; someone confident working in a sole charge position and keen to take on operational responsibilities ensuring the facility is welcoming, accessible, well maintained and well presented. You will enjoy working alongside the community and get to assist with the marketing of the centre to potential users.

Ideally you will have experience and understanding of the operational side of a community facility and possess the following attributes:

  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Confidence to manage relationships with a diverse range of customers
  • Ability to work effectively and positively in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be flexible and manage other tasks as required

Whilst this position is district-wide with potential to work across all of our centres, it has a particular focus on the Dunsandel Community Centre and hours will be worked there in the first instance.

This position is a minimum of 10 hours per week with additional hours dependent on centre bookings. Flexibility is required along with the ability to work evenings and weekends.
