Lifeguards | Full-time roles in our modern Aquatic Centre

Enjoy an active role as a Lifeguard where you will play an important part in the day to day running of our recently extended and modern facility.

As you work as part of our team you will maintain a safe environment for all of our customers, delivering exceptional customer service to our facility users. Proactively supervise the pool environment to prevent incidents, accidents, emergencies and hazards in this active role.

Your previous aquatic or recreation experience means you have an understanding of the operational side of facilities and their importance in the community. An effective communicator you are comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people and enjoy building and maintaining positive relationships. Ideally, you will already be a qualified lifeguard but above all you are proactive, motivated and keen to learn.

The hours for this role are as follows (rotating roster):

Week 1

Monday - 7am to 3pm

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 5:30am to 1:30pm

Saturday - 7:30am to 4pm

Sunday - 12pm to 8:30pm

Week 2

Monday - 1:30pm to 9:30pm

Wednesday - 7am to 3pm

Thursday and Friday - 1:30pm to 9:30pm

If you are shortlisted we will contact you to arrange a practical assessment. You will need to be available for training at the end of January. Candidates who successfully complete the assessment will be invited to a formal interview with our hiring team.
