Reserves Officer

We are looking for a well organised, passionate and customer focused Reserves Officer to join our team and ensure a level of service in the upkeep, and maintenance of the Reserves district wide whilst also making sure our camping areas are managed appropriately.

Reporting to the Reserves Operations Manager you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance projects, auditing works undertaken by the Reserves Contractor and completing inspections of Council's reserves including forestry land, gravel pits and other properties. You will liaise with property neighbours, contractors and other Council staff, respond to customer service requests and provide input into the development of the reserve maintenance work programmes.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Parks and Recreation, Property or other related area alongside at least three years technical experience working with open space, property or facilities. You will have be a great problem solver and be confident making effective and timely decisions.

We pride ourselves on providing a seven day service to our communities, hours of work will be rostered and this role will include regular weekend hours.
